Nice And Excellent and MC Alfie are ‘Reliable’. They met in 2001 on the music scene in East London, UK at the beginning of the electro house explosion. Both from varied musical backgrounds, their appreciation of different styles of music, enjoyment of performance and the urge to communicate their own ideas led to the forging of a recording and live act. Whilst Nice And Excellent was rocking crowds at underground parties and MC Alfie was working his vocal talents with several different outfits, they realised that a vocalist combined with the punch of house music could really add an extra dimension to the performance. Eventually this mix of vocal and musical talent was realised in the studio where material was produced in 2003/2004. The music represents a more soul laden journey into house and electro music, with influences taken from St Lucia and Trinidad as well as Chicago and Berlin. |
