Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I grew up very curious of what the world had to offer. After graduating high school, I spent the next seven years traveling through Asia, Africa and Europe. Learning about different cultures and trying to find my place in life. When in Mykonos, an island off the coast of Athens, Greece, I had a life changing experience. In an open air club called, Cavo Paradiso, (Paradise Cave). It sits on top of a cliff, over looking the Mediterranean Sea. The sun was just rising and there was this deep, soulful sound that gave me a sensation like never before and made everyone come together. After that day, I knew I wanted to be a part of that feeling in some way. I wanted to give to others the same feeling that was given to me on that perfect sunrise morning. I ended up moving to NYC and enrolling at SAE, (Sound of Audio Engineering). Graduating in December 2002. After graduation, I started putting together a project studio. Night after night producing my sound. Getting my inspiration from MAW, Frankie Knuckles, Todd Terry and all the other pioneers of House music. Not to leave out every Saturday night at Shelter, where Timmy Regisford brings down the house. Since then, I’ve been collecting and spinning classic, deep, soulful House and trying to perfect the beat in the studio to do my part in keeping the underground sound alive! |
